Upcoming Events in 2019:

Friday, May 31 - Mental Health and Substance Abuse

A program to look closely at mental health, substance abuse and addiction, how they're linked, and what can be done in the local community to help people struggling with these problems. Presented by the Caring Community Collaborative (C3) and the Lakota Local School District. Sponsored by the Butler County Mental Health and Addiction Services Recovery Board.

Multiple break-out sessions will precede a main program featuring both students and professionals in the field. Free and open to all. Pre-registration is required. Eligible for CEU's and Lakota professional development credit. Lunch will be provided.

Breakout sessions include:

1. High Risk Behaviors - Smoking, Vaping, Marijuana, Drinking

2. High Risk Behaviors – Technology (Social Media)

3. Introduction to Trauma

4. Suicide and Suicide Prevention

5. Crisis Intervention and How to Access Resources
